Janane recently joined Waterfall Arts' staff after 6 years of employment at a very large insurance company.   Janane moved to the area to concentrate her creative energy on music making. She’s involved in many music/sound performance projects ranging from barely audible outer space folk music to a synth-dance cover band. She totally loves her job at Waterfall Arts!

For over 2 years, Dan has been Waterfall Arts’ Building Manager, Resident Artist, and Co-Curator, working cooperatively across all departments with artists, teachers, staff, board members, students and volunteers.  One of his primary focuses, at the Belfast campus, is to make the building more ecologically sound and environmentally sustainable. These efforts have been very successful, as our use of fossil fuels has decreased substantially.  As an artist, Dan enjoys employing a wide variety of “tools,” from a cordless hand drill to homemade paint brushes to prepared (altered) guitars, serving to effectively carry out his personal goal of positive social change and community-building.
