Waterfall Arts hosts its third annual Family Fun(d)raiser benefit dinner “Pastabilities” now on Tuesday March 1 from 5:30 to 7:00pm at their Belfast building. Talented local chefs Steve Cummings from the Awesome Diner, John and Lori O'Neill from Nana's Kitchen, Charlie Laurel of Bay Wrap, Carol Gater from the Wealthy Poor House and guest chef Blaine Richardson are preparing special pasta dishes. The menu also includes green salad, beverages, Louise Chamberland’s homemade French bread and dessert éclairs made by the Waldo County Technical Center culinary arts students

Other events for the evening are a building wide open house, art activities for kids led by Jess Porter, musical entertainment by the “Clarx”: jazz guitarists Dan and David Clarke and an art book sale.  Waterfall Arts is looking for donations of gently used, high quality books on all aspects of art – biographies, monographs, art history, photography, sculpture, painting, design, performance, ceramics, theater, criticism, woodworking and more. Donated books can be dropped off at the first floor studio during business hours.  Cull some books, buy some new ones for yourself, friends or family and help out Waterfall Arts.
