Waterfall Arts and the Belfast Dance Studio are collaborating on Global Water Dances, an International annual event to celebrate public access to water on Saturday June 25th at 5 PM. The event will take place at the Belfast Harbor Park with live musicians, dancers, audience participation and possible boat interaction on the water.
Global Water Dances will occur internationally on June 25th at 5 PM in each location’s respective time zone. Participants include Beijing, Lima, Maui, Cairo, Belfast, Maine and many more. The Global Water Dances initiative is “Dancing for Safe Water Everywhere”. This performance is a model of how to use participatory art to raise consciousness about environmental problems, and how to bring people together to work on solving these problems.
