This Friday, Oct 21 at 6:30pm, Scott McKeown, Training Coordinator of Transition U.S. will speak at Waterfall Arts, 256 High Street in Belfast about his experiences engaging community in homegrown, citizen-led education and grassroots action on issues such as the rising cost and availability of food and fuel. McKeown is a founding member of the Transition Initiative in Sebastopol, California. This free talk is sponsored by the Belfast Area Transition Initiative, the newly forming Brooks Transition Initiative, and Transition Initiative Portland.
McKeown is the initiator and current chairperson of Transition Sebastopol, which is the 8th official Transition initiative in the US. Scott is a trainer, instructional designer, and event producer who has worked over seven years delivering training courses in corporate environments including for Advanced Fibre Communications and the Buckminster Fuller Institute.
