Annually, Waterfall Arts in Belfast matches area youth with professional artists of similar interests for a short-term mentoring program. The teams make artwork on an environmental theme, culminating in a collaborative public exhibition. Media can include: sculpture, painting, photography, video, movement, performance, animation, installation, and more.

This year’s theme, water, focuses on a wide range of topics, including water conservation, water as a resource, and preserving the beauty and intrinsic value of aquatic landscapes. This launching point for the artist/mentor pairs is embedded in our mission: Creating community in harmony with nature through the transformative power of the arts!
